It lets your practice manage clients, matters and the section 86 trust account, generate statements and trust reports, and work together as a team. All data is stored securely in the cloud and is only accessible to the members of your practice.

A matter's trust account may never be overdrawn (section 86 of the Legal Practice Act). PracticeOne enforces this: trust payments and transfers to business are limited to the funds held in trust for that matter. Disbursements paid before trust funds are received can be captured as Business Payments and recovered from trust later.

Your data is stored in secure cloud storage, protected by security rules so that only you and the members of your practice can access it. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections. See our Privacy Policy for details.

PracticeOne is free for a single practitioner with up to 5 active matters. Paid plans (Solo, Practice and Firm) unlock unlimited matters and add team seats, and each starts with a 14-day free trial. Only the practice owner subscribes; everyone they invite works under the same plan.

On your Mac, open the App Store, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, choose Account Settings, then Manage next to Subscriptions to change or cancel your plan. If a subscription lapses, your practice keeps all its matters and members and simply returns to the free tier. You just can't add new ones until you resubscribe.
